About

© Martina Navarrini

Born in Palermo in 1988, he lives and works in Milan. After earning a Master’s degree in Product Design for Innovation from the Politecnico di Milano in 2015, he began a path that intertwines design research with an entrepreneurial vision. His professional experience developed across disciplines and geographies: prior to graduating, he moved to London, where he joined Aitor Throup Studio—an international practice in which design, fashion, and experimentation merge into a distinctive language.

This experience fostered a deep interest in multidisciplinary approaches and in the potential of innovation as a design tool. In 2017, he founded his own design studio in Milan, working across product and interior design and developing projects ranging from furniture to accessories, with a strong focus on production processes and material identity.

Over the years, he has collaborated with Italian and international companies, including Breil and Au Départ Paris, combining consultancy work with ongoing research at the intersection of craftsmanship and industry, technology and perception. His work reflects a vision of design as a synthesis of innovation, material culture, and aesthetic sensitivity—capable of transforming spaces and objects into experiences of relationship and meaning.
